It’s Kwanzaa Time
It’s my favorite time of the year. Each day we ask the question “Habari Gani?” meaning “what’s the news?” and respond with the name of the principle of the Nguzo Saba that’s for that day. I’ll be adding graphics for all seven principles throughout the week as I create them. So stay tuned.
December 26: Umoja! Habari Gani?
December 27: Kujichagulia! Habari Gani?
December 28: Ujima! Habari Gani?
December 29: Ujamaa! Habari Gani?
December 30: Nia! Habari Gani?
December 31: Kuumba! Habari Gani?

I’m excited to share Kwanzaa in a fun way with my students in my after school program. This is such a creative way to share the information about the seven principles of Nguzo Saba via Kwanzaa your illustrations are great personification for these principles.

When will your Kwanzaa 2021 come out?
Hi Vanessa, I’m actually working on new stuff as we speak. This year I think I’ll be featuring images from my upcoming Kinara’s Children Kwanzaa Koloring book. OK, not sure if that’s the title but gotta call it something :-} Coming soon.
